Prison Art

      There are some amazing artists in prison, and this page is to show off their talents. Some have been sent to me or members of the Abbott family personally (drawn by Sonny and his "cellie" Raymond), some greeting cards sent to me by Sonny and/or Ray others I have found searching the internet. Hope you enjoy them.

  var _gaq = _gaq || [];
  _gaq.push(['_setAccount', 'UA-33778052-1']);

  (function() {
    var ga = document.createElement('script'); ga.type = 'text/javascript'; ga.async = true;
    ga.src = ('https:' == document.location.protocol ? 'https://ssl' : 'http://www') + '.google-analytics.com/ga.js';
    var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(ga, s);

Outlaw - by Dwight Abbott

Drawn by Raymond Cooper

Sonny's "cellie" Ray decided to learn to draw. He has come a long way since the first drawing he sent me. I am very proud of him and look forward to each new drawing.

            Awwww, Me and Sonny, aren't we cute?             Bouquet of flowers Ray drew for me

This was originally one picture, but Ray didn't have a big enough envelope to mail it in so he cut it in half and made 2 pictures out of it. I love it.

The following are greeting cards I have received from Sonny and Ray

Inmate Artwork

The following pictures were either drawn by inmates at Salinas Valley State Prison and sent to me by Sonny and/or Ray, or were found on the internet under prison/inmate art.
